You will also need to install anchor bolts into the foundation to provide additional support for the steel columns. However, before you even pour the square pads, make sure your ground space is level and even, or you will surely encounter construction problems later on. Next, fasten the steel columns to the anchor bolts and lift the overhead building rafters to the top of the columns and bolt them into place.
